50 US Architects: Residential + Planning

50 US Architects: Residential + Planning, by Damir Sinovcic, was published in 2012 as a survey of residential and master planning work from across the country, with every state represented. Missouri’s entry is Christian Arnold of Clockwork Architecture + Design in Kansas City, on pages 174 to 177.

Faust Construction built the house Arnold and his wife Julie designed for their own family in Old Briarcliff: a modern home raised on a steep, triangular, wooded lot, with clerestory glass, a woven wood screen wall and a bamboo-screened deck set out among the trees. Dwell featured it in 2010 and Houzz profiled it in 2017.
