This policy explains what information Faust Construction (“Faust Construction,” “we,” “us”) collects through faustconstruction.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies only to this website and to the emails we send because of it. It does not cover information you give us in person, by phone, or under a construction contract, which is handled under the terms of that relationship.

Information you give us

When you fill out our contact form or project questionnaire, we collect what you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number, the type of project you are considering, and details about it such as property status, timeline, where your plans stand, budget range, how you prefer to be contacted, how you heard about us, and any notes you add. When you request our custom home building roadmap or sign up for updates, we collect your email address. Please do not send us sensitive personal information such as financial account numbers or government identification numbers through the website.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some information automatically when you visit. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages perform, which can include recordings of mouse movement, clicks and scrolling on the page. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and approximate location. Our hosting and content delivery providers also keep standard server logs. We do not use this information to identify you by name.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to respond to your inquiry, evaluate and discuss your project, schedule conversations, send the resources you ask for, and keep you informed about our work if you have signed up to hear from us. We use automatically collected information to keep the site working, understand which pages are useful, and improve it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Email

If you contact us or request a resource, we may send you a small number of follow-up emails related to your request. If you sign up for updates, we may send occasional news about our projects. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We may still contact you directly about a project you have asked us about.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and our communications, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include Webflow, which hosts the site and receives form submissions; Cloudflare, which processes form submissions securely; MailerLite, which stores contact details and sends our emails; Resend, which sends internal notifications to our team when a form is submitted; and Google and Microsoft, which provide the analytics tools described above. These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies and your choices

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as intended. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Microsoft describes how Clarity uses data at privacy.microsoft.com. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal; because there is no common standard for responding to it, the site does not change its behavior when it receives one.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and questionnaire information for as long as it is useful for discussing and delivering a project, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. We keep email subscription information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics providers keep data according to their own retention settings.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for adults planning construction projects. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our site links to other websites, such as press coverage of our work and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Your requests
