Arnold

A new home in Old Briarcliff that architect Christian Arnold of Clockwork Architecture + Design drew for his own family. The house sits on a steep, triangular, wooded lot, raised on stilts at the edge of the hill rather than cleared into it. Inside, clerestory windows and floor-to-ceiling glass carry daylight across one long open plan, a woven wood screen wall separates living from dining, and a bamboo-screened deck sets the main level out among the trees.
