Goodbye Suburban Style | My Design KC

My Design KC covered a downtown tower condo bath that was gutted and rethought rather than refinished.

Losing the tub is what made the room work. It bought space for a full shower and real storage, and a floating walnut vanity became the focal point instead of the fixtures. The harder problem was light. The room has no window, so linear LED was set directly into the sheetrock rather than surface mounted, which lights the space without reading as a fixture.
